Airport, Railway Access

Transportation options are many with three major highways that pass-through Baca totaling 1 51 miles. There is Highway 287/385 which is the Ports to Plains corridor that runs from the Gulf of Mexico to Canada. Additionally, Hwy 160 and Hwy 116 as well as Colorado 100 and Colorado 89 are running through Baca County.

Rail lines running through the county are Burlington Northern Santa Fe and Cimarron Valley rail line.

Airports/Fields/Helipads are Springfield Municipal Airport which is large enough for small private jets and does have
fuel on site. Private Fields are Griffin Field, Doyle Airfield, Schroder Field and Drosselmeyer Field.

Southeast Colorado Hospital has a landing pad for helicopters.
