What Possibilities Are Waiting Behind Springfield's Closed Doors?

Come see tomorrow's opportunity. Step inside, discover their stories, and imagine the businesses and ideas that could come next!

The Baca County Economic Development Commission will be hosting a tour of empty buildings, Open Doors Springfield, on Saturday October 17th, from 10AM to 1PM. There are 10 locations to see on the tour highlighting buildings on Springfield's Main St that are either for sale or for rent. Realtors and/or owners will be present to answer the important questions about square footage, condition of the building, cost, etc. Volunteers will be available to talk about the history of the building and share any stories they may know.

After the tour, grab some food from one of the vendors set up on W. 9th for Oktoberfest and step inside The Lost Dog, a local pub and eatery inside a formerly empty building. See a real life example of the ways our richly storied buildings can be reborn.
