Housing
The Southeast Colorado Regional Housing Authority, SECRHA, was established as a multijurisdictional housing authority to affect the planning, financing, acquisition, construction, reconstruction or repair, maintenance, management, and operation of affordable and attainable housing. SECRHA is organized under the umbrella of Southeast Colorado Enterprise Development, and operated by a board comprised of representatives from the 6 counties it serves: Baca, Bent, Crowley, Kiowa, Otero, Prowers.
SECRHA is currently taking applications from interested home buyers looking to live in Baca County. The homebuyer interest form can be found on SECRHA's website by clicking the Homes tab and selecting one of the available home plans.
SECRHA also offers down payment assistance to homebuyers that qualify. Interest forms can also be found on the SECRHA website.
